Tiroge Retirement Village has plans from the basic to the all-inclusive. You can choose to just have us empty your bins twice a week or be responsible for any maintenance around the home as well as regular cleaning.

About our Village

Tiroge is an innovative concept in Irish residential development and lifestyle provision - an integrated complex containing distinctive elements in a secure setting convenient to road and rail but located in a unique rural village environment.

The 40-acre site at Killenard, already the location of significant residential, hotel and golf-course developments, provides the perfect setting for the promise that Tiroge proposes to deliver.

The development takes its inspiration and name from the nearby ancient ecclesiastical foundation of Tirhogar (Tír Chóigir, ‘Land of the Five’), adapted to signify a land of opportunity and adventure for the young at heart.

Tiroge will include private residences (with occupancy confined to those over 55) and leisure facilities for active independent living and personal well-being, supported accommodation for those with limiting or progressive conditions, and nursing care provision for those with more serious health issues.

Detailed plans and perspectives have been prepared by the developers and their specialist provision partners, and construction is scheduled to begin in January 2023.
